LA Metro Workers at May Day
On May 1, 2026, LA Metro workers formed a contingent in the May Day march, behind an ATU 1277 banner reading “ICE OUT!” With over 100 coworkers losing their commercial drivers licenses and being forced into lower paid positions, the demonstrators held signs including ones that said “CDLs Revoked: Preserve Pay & Seniority!”

Report Back on MN “General Strike”
Speech about the 1/23 Minneapolis “General Strike” at the LA Holiday Appeal for Class-War Prisoners on 1/31. Put on by the Partisan Defense Committee, the Appeal “raises money for monthly stipends as an expression of solidarity to those imprisoned for standing up to racist capitalist repression and imperialist depredation.” The current recipients are Mumia Abu Jamal, Leonard Peltier and Xinachtli. About the Unionists for Seán & Jaime Rally on 9/25/2025
On 9/25/25, the Unionists for Seán & Jaime (linktr.ee/unionists4sj) put on a rally for no discipline, full backpay for drivers who oppose ICE. It drew in unionists from across Metro and the city, as well as community activists, to the steps of Metro HQ. Hear Elliot from the Committee for One Fighting Transit Union discuss the significance.
